Answer

A = lead poisoning interferes with porphyrin synthesis so long exposure will affect RBC production resulting in a decrease in retic count.

B = Polycythemia is an increase in RBC, therefore would expect to see an increase in retic count.

C = Invasive surgery that will result in some blood loss will lead to an increase in retic count.

D = HIV is a chronic disease with diagnosis of TB (another chronic disease) could lead to anemia of Chronic Inflammation (due to systemic disease) which results in a decrease in retic count.
